Russ Osgood receives the state of Maine Volunteer of the Year award
Russ served as President of the York County Extension Association, a member of the Univerfsity of Maine Cooperative Extension Futures Task Force and co-founded the local Coastal Clovers 4-H club.

Acton Fair President honored at state fair convention
The Maine Association of Agricultural Fairs (MAAF) awarded Acton Fair President Arvid H. Roberts its “Outstanding Service Award.”
The association presented the award to Arvid during its Annual Conference at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland on Saturday, January 29.
Arvid Roberts January 2011 Arvid was recognized for his many years of service to the community and agriculture. He takes on many responsibilities and is dedicated to agriculture, from being pulling ring superintendent to President of Acton Fair – no job has ever been too small for him.
