A Letter from the President

 

The Acton Fair Officers and  Directors welcome our many vendors, exhibitors and guests to the 159th fair. 

As many of you may know I was elected President in November 2023. I have a lot of learning curves ahead of me to keep the fair moving in a forward position as Roger Ridley has done for the past few years! I have loved agriculture all my life and really want the fair to be a success for many years to come for our communities to enjoy. 

Over the past couple of years, we have made great strides to improve the fair overall, including improvements to structures and grounds, electrical updates, and a new water system.  

Looking forward to 2025 that will be our 160th anniversary, we welcome you to contribute any thoughts and ideas for this celebration. Any old photos and fair memorabilia would be greatly appreciated. 

And finally, a thank you to all of our officers, di rectors, superintendents, sponsors and volunteers for your continued support making this fair successful.
