A Letter from the President

The Acton Fair Officers and Directors welcome our many vendors, exhibitors and guests to the 158th fair.

With the many state mandates and requirements to be followed, presenting agricultural displays along with declining agriculture in this area presents a challenge in this day an age.

However, this year we will have a second pig scramble, 4-H baby beef calf lottery, and 2024 baby beef auction including market hogs and market lambs.  Also added this year will be a corn maze for children and laser tag.

Since the reopening after the Covid-19 pandemic we have made great strides to improve the fair overall, including improvements to structures and grounds, electrical updates and later this year a new water system is planned.

Looking forward to 2025 that will be our 160th anniversary we welcome you to contribute any thoughts and ideas for this celebration.   Any old photos and fair memorabilia would be greatly appreciated.

Thanking all of our officers, directors, superintendents, sponsors and volunteers for your continued support making this fair successful.

Sincerely,

Roger T. Ridley, President
